Zadig & Voltaire Zadig L’Intense is a richer and darker interpretation of the original Zadig Eau de Parfum, giving its familiar creamy-woody signature a more pronounced character. Black and golden sesame open alongside ginger and incense, creating a dry, lightly toasted and spicy-smoky effect. Orange blossom then brings brightness and softness, while an unusual vinyl accord introduces a modern, slightly rebellious edge. In the base, vanilla becomes warmer and fuller as it blends with creamy sandalwood and guaiac wood. Compared with the original Zadig, this version feels deeper, warmer and more suited to evening wear while preserving its recognizable sesame-and-vanilla identity. On skin, it moves from a spicy, smoky opening into a smooth woody-vanilla drydown with a subtle unconventional twist.
